Thanks for all your help guys, Martin especially for his hospitality, spare filter, old pads, use of tools, Scott oil and anything else I have forgotten. Most enjoyable day, learned a lot and bike is running sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Had a great run home and am really looking forward to the French trip now.

2004 900 - Blue with lots of goodies
2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.

The Black One : 2010 Model Registered 2013 owned 2018 - present .Beowulf Cans. Renthal 755s Grip Puppies,15w fork oil,DL650 handguards ,givi engine bars ,led spotlights,gipro gear indicator, shortened dogbones, LeeHenty CSM kit and stainless bits, Topsellerie seat,MRA Xcreen,.PC III (dynoed). K&N airfilter,Fenda extenda. Lots of stainless/titanium.

Found one on the drive this morning

Duh, That would be mine mate. I checked to see if it had primed itself and discovered the end was missing. It didn't prime so at least it hasn't decanted chain oil everywhere.

What a day we had, thanks Martin for the hospitality and JHT for the work done on my bike .Couldnt log on last night my internet was down,a lot of pictures of me with my hands in the pockets but i promise you i work a little bit.
Was very happy to met some carpediens

Bit of anti rust spray in your toolbox might be a good idea.....

Um, I do occasionally work in other materials, besides it was laying under the lathe, so I put it to good use after reading how to make one somewhere on here.
The captive bolts were stainless though, how's that ?
