Shit man, that sucks. I know how you feel.
Having paid shed loads of money in to my pension over the last seven years it looks like they're going to move the goal posts. And that's if I keep my job.

It's going to get worse before it gets better.

How much cash do you reckon we'll need on this trip? How did it work out last time?
Is it best to eat en-route to the ferry or on the ferry?

Anyone fancy meeting up on the ride down to the ferry (I'm in Didcot) ?

Cash :

Payment to Motoranis will cover brekkie and evening meals (inc beer / wine)

Petrol money - enough for 8-900 miles

Lunches whilst out riding Fri and Sat (won't need to much as we are well fed at Motoranis cake eating.gif )

Last year most of us had a meal on the way to the outward ferry and a few beers whilst on board drinks.gif

Cant remember anyone having brekkie in the morning, most of us had brunch at Pegasus bridge

Last year most of us had a meal on the return ferry and a snack on route

Cabins:

I'm just about to book my ferry and happy to book another 4 berth cabin, I know Martin (Cats) has booked one and is sharing with Saga, Maximus and RobC.

Just want to make sure no one else has booked one ?

I believe the others coming are Wicky, ChrisR, VFRDave, Gunblaster and myself. So if some of you gents are happy to share (and haven't already booked a cabin) i'll go ahead and book another 4 berth cabin good.gif

So do we ro don't we need hi vis full length jackets?

It says in MCN that British riders will be exempt, so what's the frigging point of forcing the French riders?

Do we want to start thinking about places to visit while were there.

When we left the Ferry last year we stopped off at the Pegasus Bridge. Do we want to do this again or does someone have another place of interest they would like to visit.

Also was the coastal resort of Quiberon. Again, nice ride out and worth a wander

Have a think and any WW1 WW2 or anywhere you would like to discover post it up and we can start to create an agenda
