Just a quick note to say thanks guys and gals, and I made it home safely.  Those that were there will understand why I am about to pour myself a large glass of Kraken Rum.  You were all stars and made me very welcome plus you didn't laugh too much at my comedy bike and errors.

Safe riding everyone.

Nice to see some old faces again and meet some new ones. Wish I'd had a camera handy for a photo of Lee polishing the grass though

now busy cleaning tools and putting them back in the man cave, Glad you got home ok stumpy, that bike gave us some serious headaches, but we got it going.

Muddy's bike put up a good fight by shearing the usual brake adjuster bolt. drilled, helicoiled and new brass ones fitted sorted this minor bump on the road of progress.

Many thanks to AliG for putting on his usual spread. I got time for one sausage inna bun.

As usual I managed to get some more stainless bits onto bikes. Chris R bike was blindingly polished. Got sunburnt.

Er seems Swmbo took some photos without my knowledge.

You should have stuck with the FJR or the TDM. I thought this bike is supposed to do the long way down or round or sommat like that, with no problems. BMW 0 TDM 8 (the Vstrom and tiger's didn't count)

So as much as I would like to claim the Snickerdoodle recipe for my own, I can't. It was the lovely ladies at the Hummingbird Bakery who did it.  So here is a link to a site that has step by step instructions.  My only change is no cream of tartar sauce and extra cinnamon.  All the best.

Even a bitsa TDM made it there, and thanks to loads of help, made it home again.

we always like a challenge :) , now you need to get hold of a 3vd ignitor box and figure out what carbs you got then get into the books to make the wiring work. This may take some time.....
