Thats possible, DazzerB.

what time would you be up to say junction 37 on M6,

could do Wenslydale, Buttertub pass, Birkdale, Brough, Middleton Teesdale, High Force, Garrigill, Hartside, Alston, Haydon Bridge, Bellingham.

Good Run that......... wacko.gif

Cheers, Ivan

looks good ivan

if we wanted to get off motorway earlier, we could perhaps do

- J34 - devils bridge - hawes then as you say

or even

- J31 - trough of bowland - settle - horton ('TT') - hawes then as you say

(and maybe add melmerby to do the whole of hartside??)

is that too long?

I'll hopefully be up for this, my boss is hassling me to not take any leave before the end of my contract at the end of September so I'm still working on it. If so I'll probably stop near Nottingham on the Thursday night and meet up with Ivan/Pete/etc Friday morning. Probably take my tent unless you're still short of numbers for the bunkhouse.

yep oil be riding up from Exeter and i have a small tool. Might have a BMW GS (which will have to stop at junctions and wait ferrous to catch up......) and anudder TDM in tow.

Wicky,

What time are you planning on passing Bristol ?, Maybe meet and ride up as a group. I've also got a mate coming on a BMW (R1100s), if you're on a 11/1200GS it will definitely be the BM's stoping and waiting for the TDMs to catch up !!

Ivan, Pete,

Routes look very good, as long as you let me stop regularly to rest my ass and stretch me legs blink.gif (only got a 100mile ass and would of already done 200+). I'll also speak to me mate first, but am sure he would be happy with what ever is decided.

Should we start praying for good weather now . . . or are we hoping for an indian summer

[rant] Tried to book my ferries last night with Stena online as I usually do. They have changed their booking site. They will not accept my booking because I could not give my city (anybody who was on the RTT will know how close to a city we live!), did not have a postcode (apart from Dublin there are no postcodes in the Republic) and would not give them my mobile number (why should I?). I have sent them an email expressing my delight with their new site and await their reply with interest. In the meantime I have no ferries to go to and from Bellingham.[/rant]

Peter,

Matlock and I are travelling up on the Friday and making a long ride of it.

No exact route yet but would envolve the Lakes, Dales etc...

Think its a sharp 9.30-10.00 start,

but tell me its 8.30 and I should get there on time.

Cheers, Ivan

Looks like I will be working on the friday 10:00 till 01:00 on the saturday in Birmingham. Its time and a half so I cant pass up. Can any one remember if they had a sofa in the bunkhouse. If they do I can get up early on saturday and blast up to a meeting point with just a tank bag and maggot to sleep in. Plan would be to then join in for a ride, have a meal at the pub and get pished later. I could do with out lugging a tent around as I will be leaving early even if I have to pay for a bed and not get one.
Thoughts please.
