And there was me thinking this is a cake forum with a bike fetish!

Turns out it's just another bike forum with a half arsed cake thing going on, sooo disappointed in you Dappers, you've let the side down!

It's the Tishabelles birthday on Monday so we decided to go and have a brevit around Berkeley Castle...weather looked good today and castle closed....open tomorrow but weather looks poop....so let's go and I'll blag summat....¯\_ʘ‿ʘ_/¯

So we got there and indeed closed for a wedding. We found an unlocked gate and a chap loading up a jagggggg with some bits. I asked him if we behaved really well. Could we come in and have a picnic please.....he said that he had to leave as he had just come to pick up some stuff but that it was fine for us to stay (@_@)(@_@).. and would we mind locking up when we left. Lolzio. Thought he had a higher level of sarcasm than me...but he was actually serious and did indeed let us in and then promptly drove off leaving us in our own walled garden wonderland with the padlock and chain.

What a really great bloke and a lovely day. Some pics will follow.

Tishabelle decided their gardens needed a water so we set up a hose and did some maintenance for them.

Off to Kemsing Kent tomorrow to have a look at a Norton Rotary Ambulance bike in the LAS historic collection.. Idle suddenly stayed high so something is stuck.
Taking my special tools in my E22's and topbox. Once again the Niner gets the job. It will be motorways and dual carriageways to get the miles done. Brother is now the boss so photos will be permitted.

Look at that sunshine. My other half is a Chadderton girl so we're up north quite often but rarely in the sun.
Bikes looking well in those colours.

Finally out and finished the long RE run in, took the long way on A roads up to the Trough of Bowland and on into N.Yorkshire then headed back over to Cumbria to stop at Devils Bridge-Kirkby Lonsdale, Sedbergh, Kirkby Stephen, got lost over the Yorkshire Dales and ended up near Masham, so onto Pately Bridge, Skipton and home, took the M6 from Preston as the bike is now run in and managed an easy 70mph but never sat in the slow lane so much

So the only downside if you can call it that is the inability to pass long lengths of cars on long A roads and make progress as such, all in all i cant say it bothered me, well a little but that will pass, and you just have to wave the bigger boys on, otherwise for these type of roads it's perfect...
