Sideways flying birds, sideways leaning bike, a few shipwrecks and 5 of the south Orkney sea barriers which interconnect the lower isles. (The Drift Ghost HD got a weathersealing test that day !)

It's a Drift Ghost HD, Kelpie. I use the Drift stick-on mount to fix it to the right fairing.
I've got some footage to share later (once I've edited down) which I recorded in the stormy conditions yesterday. the camera is completely waterproof and did a great job.
The neat thing is that the front lens rotates, so whichever way up you mount it you can spin the lens to set the output straight again
I just wish I'ld thought to wipe the lens before heading down Berriedale, but the lens had at least 100 miles of wet A-road muck on it. Oh, well it's just an excuse to do it again on another day !
Fixitsan, i'm running an Drift 720HD and tried today for the 1st time, i attched it to my helmet but like the idea of what you've done in mounting on the side panel. Have you just stuck it on the panel with the mounts supplied?
Ive got a big issue with wind noise as you have, tried the old sock fix today with no joy... any ideas?

I've just tried an external mic, it's just a cheap internet chat headset, wrapped in kitchen towel, put inside a rubber glove. I installed it under the seat beneath the tools.
I'm sure a bit more of a play with the sound quality in my video program would do it justice, but it's a definite improvement
Here's how that sounds...

I am stuck with a pair of BT023 (not by choice). Wooden, plastic, uninspiring etc. yukThe Avons are more pliant and tick all the boxes. reccommend
Much better tyres than the Battleax BT023s.
Wot I said 4.5 years ago.

My 9yr old 9er battery have seen better days. Finally ordered a new Lithium battery from Italy for only 95 EUR. Will be interesting to see if it'll do the job, today and coming years.

Rearranged and refitted oil pressure and Gammatronix LED's

Fitted new SMIDSY brake light flasher
Removed Accumen gear indicator.
Fitted the gear indicator in the tacho. Mod. Maybe have to strip the switch again as No.3 doesn't work and it's not the dash.
Polished it whilst in the garage.
Not road tested yet as it keeps raining when I get the chance.
By the way SMIDSY are an excellent company and deserve custom.

Gasman: SNAP
Yesterday I fitted full C&S kit - Ognibene (try saying that quickly!) cushioned front sprocket, but standard 16T; DID VX gold chain; AFAM rear sprocket 42T. Bought from Bike Torque via their eBay site Performoto.
The front sprocket is a tight fit on the splines with no suggestion of slop as discussed in a thread on here.
The old original front @ 31,000 odd miles is well worn:-
I wonder how long the fancy orange will last!
The rear sprocket shows nowhere near the same amount of wear:-
I was puzzling over the time it took me when I realised that my previous experience with rear sprockets changes was with VFRs where you don't have to take the wheel off!
While in the mood I added a second hooter to make my presence known should it be necessary:-
It is held by one of the engine mount clamp bolts on a bracket:-
Off now for a ride.

Today I fitted a pair of dual tone horns, and am surprised by how loud they are.
http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Also started fitting a pair of spots. (they need extra waterproofing which I'll do with silicon tomorrow). Surprised how bright they are, and with an additional small bracket they fit tidily using the radiator mount bolt
