I definitely like the look of the Lazers on your bike but I notice you have a centrestand on yours - is there an extra bracket on the connecting pipe for the bumpstop on the stand?
Cheers

Thanks!
A mechanic did the jobb for me and he didn't mention anything about any x-tra brackets on the connecting pipe. The only x-tra brackets in the package are those two needed to lower the cans to make it possible to use panniers.
As a matter of fact, I haven't thought about this before your brought it up...
If you want more info, take a look here (PDF file from Laser's web site).

For comparison, I just came across Hattech (road legal) cans - web site has a TDM900 soundbite.

Hey!
The sound was not bad. Not bad at all!
And the looks...? Well, it looks good too. Seems like it's mounted to the bike with a bracket instead of this strap thingy around the can. That's nice!

The sound is much louder than the clip suggests. It's a very nice sound, but it was way too loud for my liking (and that of my neigbours I'm sure).

AJ, I noticed that while your Laser pipes look like they're mounted at the same height as the stock cans, the Lasers pictured in the PDF look much higher. Do you know why there is a difference?

Hi TwinRider,
The difference is with or without side cases/panniers; no room for panniers when pipes are mounted high (like the photo in the PDF file). There are two brackets are enclosed in the Laser package and by using them you can fit the cans low enough to use panniers. My bike looks like this with panniers:

They are holding up very good. Great sound - not too loud but loud enough to get some attention

I polish the pipes every now and then and to me they still look like new.
So far I'm a happy Laser customer!

Where'd you buy them from? I'm looking for a place with decent prices that is willing to do international shipping.

I did the purchase through a Norwegian firm/retailer called MC-1 here in Norway. MC-1 doesn't have a web site, but you could try to get in touch with them on this address: yamaha@mc-1.com.
I'm not sure if they deal with non-Norwegian customers...

Can you let me know what you paid so I can do some comparison shopping? Thanks again

Ok,
I paid £.530,63 (all included like taxes, postage & handling etc.)
More than NOK 3000,- (Norwegian Kroner) cheaper than what Laser is sold for by retailers here in Norway...

Will crank that clip when I get home from work

One seller in Germany who has an Ebay shop offered a set of stainless steel Duo-Techs for 486 euros, plus 52 euros to ship it to me. Did you pay 530 euros or pounds?
Btw, how's the quality of the stainless steel? Titanium can be had but it's 608 euros.

The quality on mye Lasers seems to be excellent - stainless steel inox, I think it is...?
I paid £530.
