Before I book the campsite (it is this place isn't it?), are people only staying the Friday and Saturday nights or are people staying Sunday night and heading home on Monday?

I've heard Dandy described that way
By the way, is the bunkhouse full? Is the Bongo in use?
Looks like I'm in with a shout, have time off work, if I can put up with the domestic 'vision but no sound' for a week an a bit.
May even dust off the tent.

Are there rideout maps for the non-GPS mob like me? Maybe Google-Mapped? I'm hoping to join in somehow, combined with a visit to my cousin in Galashiels. He's got a KTM and a new Ducati GT1000 - maybe he could bring one of them along?

Hi Pict, I should have replied to you earlier over this, sorry !
I'm upto leading the route from Skipton to the bunkhouse on Friday afternoon if you want to join me.
Is there anyone else out there want who wants to take the "Dales" route up.
I was thinking about meeting up in Skipton about lunch time, but I don't want to be too prescriptive.
Just let me know.
The main bullit points of the route are
* Skipton
* Settle
* Hawes
* Appleby in West'
* Hartside
* Alston
* Hexham-ish
* Bellingham
Mileage - about 150 clicks from our house, so I guess about 110 from Skipton

Can do. Might be worth exchanging mobile numbers nearer the event to assist us in meeting up

The eight bed bunkhouse that we've booked is full but there may be spaces in other bunkhouses on the campsite so give em a call to find out. Does anyone know many of us in total are now going?
