That was my 2nd ever river crossing on the TDM.
After watching the two V-Stroms in front of me nearly lose it in that deep washed-out area at the end of the causeway, of course I was taking it easy. That's why I'm waaay over on the right where it's shallower.
< note to self - wear dark tinted visor in future so more accomplished riders cannot see my eyes bugging out in wussy girly fear>
Hmm.. location... that's a bit tricky. We turned onto Turpentine Rd just south of Nowra and went through Nerriga. We then turned off at an unmarked road that took us to Tarago (inbetween Goulburn and Queanbeyan). There were two river crossings on the un-named road. The second was shorter, but the water was deeper. The road was quite sandy in spots and one of the V-Stommers nearly lost it. Looked quite funny (yes, I laugh at others misfortunes), but must have been quite scary for him.

I had to trawl back through the thread the other day when I relised I'd not sorted out payment either
COST: £6.50 (same as last year). This includes postage and packaging.
For those in the UK, a cheque or postal order would be the preferred method (to avoid paypoop fees). Please PM me for details . Please include your address in the PM, so I know where to send the calendar. I will reply to all PM's, so if I don't reply, assume I didnt get it.
The second option for those UK'ers who prefer it and those overseas is Paypal. Please PM me with address details as above and make payment to guinness@carpe-tdm (NO SPAM).net ignoring the "(NOSPAM)" text.
For those that neither of the above options are possibilities for, PM me and we will talk cake.
