Brought a lovely Niner over from Droitwich to join the fleet  :good:

96 MkII in yellow & silver with bluespots, braided lines, Remus 2 into 1, Hagon rear shock & fork springs, bashplate, heated grips,Motech pannier racks, Road Attacks, Jockoiler, Baglux tank cover & bag. Gone to a far better place - hasn't it Remo?
Another 96 Mk2 in yellow & silver - absolutely standard & pristine ( apart from a butchered rear mudguard - but I'm looking for a new one

BTW, tyre fitter showed me about half a cup to a cup of water in each tyre. Don't know if the previous owner used the same air supply regularly but you need to know that the air hose is delivering only air.

Had a blast of a ride this evening, testing the engine braking brake light trigger and then just getting carried away with myself

 

I'm not normally a lie on the tank person.....but once i got my body forward the angle which my long arms made with the bars made countersteering so accurate and fun that it wasn't until the low fuel warning came on that i thought about heading home. :)

I accidentially discovered this, too - leaning forwards (more or less lying down on tank) give you much better control when cornering violently...

I'm putting it down to the raked angle of the bars. I can see how clipons could be addictive !

Fired up the mk1 after it being stood for 4 months or more.  No problem. :D

Got my new side panel but Royal mail are hanging on to my new uniflow filters, bunch of nobs. :punishment:

Well... Its only two weeks since the snowmobile was put away for the season.
Was snow in the air yesterday also, yet it was above zero. But yeah, i believe you when you say you drive in that weather, only bikes on the road here are europeans tourists on the way to north cape.

Rode it - first just-go-for-a-ride-and-a-lunch weekend trip for ages. Nice weather, 25deg. 

Even had a nice swim with a coupla englishmen  :lol:
