Looks like they're doing 2 episodes a night so book your spot on the sofa. Group of 14 of them though which could get a bit hectic.

Same here, I shall be watching the rest.

Looking at thier website it look's like they're doing it as a regular thing. £18000 sounds a bit steep but I suppose that does explain the nice shiny GS Adv's, and all the touratech kit and BMW clothing

blink.gif Feck that is expensive then blink.gif

...and people moaned about Ewan and Charlie having sponsorship and support....

Quite a good program in terms of seeing the country, not a huge amount equipment and kit though. Van man's an amusing kind of a chap, but I'm suprised thier support vehicle is a Transit, I know the route is mainly road based but even in Alaska it was taking a bit of punishment.

Totally missed this, and dont have Sky rewindandwatchagain TV. Is there any repeats due?

Charley nd Ewan, what a anticlimax of a TV show. The reason why the LWR worked was because it was a 'budy' type programme and we got to meet the different characters and types of people along they way with the support trucks being miles or days away. This one was was too much get here, to here, and here, o here's the missus, sorry Charlie were off on our own... make your own way see u later gooseberry. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz, actually nodded off and missed the big arival in Cape Town, never mind, def not one for the DVD collection.

To be fair you could have blinked and missed the big arrival in capetown!

Re "The ride" they're showing double episodes every Sunday at 6 on National Geographic, and unfortunatly the only repeat appears to be at 7 on national geographic +1

Yep, just checked Digiguide, and it's only showing at 6 on Sundays, or 7 on National Geographic +1. Strange, usually new series are repeated at least once during the week.

Just watched the first 2 episodes of this

For all those who have knocked LWD as being boring, I suggest they wacth this, then they'll know what boring is

Ewan and Charley maybe actors with a massive support crew, but they come across really well in the TV programs.

Long Way Up - Yes please
Ride Episode 3 - Noooooooooooooooooooo!
