After much head scratching, reading and general observation decided to order a wind deflector from Darkojak in Poland. I am in Australia but all in all took about two weeks from ordering to arrive.
It's a nice bit of kit, well made and an easy fit. But does it work? Well I'm pleased to say it does. I wore my open face helmet with no visor just my normal glasses. So much better than before with a standard screen. Very little wind buffet, much quieter and smoother feeling. I used it set about 3/4 high and fairly flat.
The service by Darkojak was first class. Postage cost was low and it was well packed. So altogether very pleased.

Ok no problem will do tomorrow when it's light. By the way love is growing for this bike as I get more time on board. Can't believe the performance and the sweet feel to the motor. I had a modern Bonnie for a while a similar size parallel twin and sold it because the motor had no character not to mention shit house suspension. Very little not to like on the TDM for me.

Wow, that is one big ugly piece of plastic...  ;)

But, if it helps, all is good  :good:

So sorry to hear that JBX

It works fine on my phone and the link is from the official Darkojak website so I had no reason to suspect it.

I do hope your pc has recovered.

I'll remove the link to be on the safe side.

All the best

It looks a bit ugly in the pics but looks ok in the context of the whole bike. I prefer it to the look of the double screen Givi Airflow which I had on my V -.Strom. I guess it's all about function over fashion and this does seem to work well.

Agreed ! Thiks it looking better than some of the gigantic touring screens  :) - or the dinosaur-like screen of the Tracer-09.....

Does anyone know if the new MRA X-Creen Touring XCTA (spoiler only) will fit a niner with a standard screen?
The website would indicate so but I'm not 100% sure width-wise.
I can't find any pics or reviews on the internet.

Thanks gents

PS Cclivve - where did you order yours from as the sites I tried don't ship outside Poland? - thanks

It crashed the graphic card.

I guess I'll have up upgrade my Win95 PC...

The day after I also crashed another Linux Mint PC while trying to upgrade the graphic driver !

It now runs only on console mode.

Hi Joe
I just Googled Darkojak and his site came up. Then emailed him on the contact given. He replied, gave me details of shipping, then used Paypal to fix him up. 10 days later it arrived in the post. All good.

Just joking about Win95 mate !

All's sorted, don't feel guilty about a simple reboot, you're not in cause. :)
