Paddy and Murphy had a night out and missed the last bus home, so they started to walk.

Along the way they passed the bus garage, and Paddy said to Murphy " I know, you go inside and steal a bus and I'll wait outside and keep guard".

So Murphy went inside and Paddy kept watch. Time passed and all Paddy could hear was the sound of engines starting and stopping and brakes squealing.

Anyway, after about half and hour Murphy appeared driving a bus. "By the cross what took you so long?" said Paddy.

"It wasn't my fault" said Murphy, "The number 26 was right at back".

"You fool" said Paddy, "you should have taken the 57 at the front and we could have walked the rest of the way".  :)
