So no actual rain and around 10C..... In my time, in that neck of the woods, I would have called that a good day out !

But how long did it take you to was down the bike ?

Don't tell me you never !

Changed my led spots , third set this month
Broke one couple weeks back due to losing it on icy road
Replaced with another set one lasted a week ( little transformer inside needs re-soldered )
New controller for R+G Heated grips -Quick test seems positive both heat evenly very slowly but evenly
And removed another screw from my rear tyre - trying some cargol twisty things this time
Thought about cleaning it but that can wait till next week

Hehehe
Problem is I'm very good at thinking about it but then if it's a decent day I want to get out on it and if it's a crap day I don't want to spend a couple of hours cleaning it
But will definitely give it a wash this week

Tried my hand at hydrodipping....

The blue will go well with the dark Galaxy Blue fuel tank of Muddy's old bike. The front fairing has had a couple of coats of lacquer and came up well enough for me, despite a few runs. The lower part of the front fairing is sprayed with Halfords bumper paint, which has just the right amount of sheen to look original.

Side panels just need a couple coats of lacquer, when completely dried out.

Obviously, wait until your wife is out.... :)

Here's a good vid with a laid back approach. The activator is a key ingredient, I reckon a 500ml aerosol of activator (acetone based) would be enough to do a bike and a half.......

Washed the Bike yesterday
So Today
Had another bout of misfiring / running on 1 cylinder
As per usual R / H coil . moisture in one of the connections seems to be today's culprit
Back running on both again but still a little rough

Just finished reading threads about this
So I've ordered new plug caps , H T Lead ( although just replaced Coil / Lead +Taped them )
will have a look at some sort of shielding to keep water away from this area

Been commuting to work on the bike since before xmas and over the last week noticed the front was a bit wobbly so on inspection the tyre has little bulges just above the chicken strips I'm thinking this 5 year old tyre with only about 4000km on it don't like the rain as it only ever had dry days, time to price a new one even tho there's plenty thread left
