I'm in the process of Googling this, but does anyone have active knowledge of retro fitting hazards.

I've found switch gear, but it's the bit from that to the indicators (ticking tockers Dappers).

Any assistance while I continue to google would be welcome.

This is on a 2003 600 Hornet.

It should just be a case of tapping into the exisiting indicator wires and flasher relay.  The switch basically shorts both indicators to the flasher relay so both come on instead of just the one with the indicator switch.

Similar to this idea, but he used an aftermarket switch -

Nice switch in nog's video. Before investing in one and possibly cutting a panel be sure your flasher unit can handle all four lamps on together. If you need proper hazards i.e. battery operated rather than just when ignition on it can be done but more involved...link left to right indicators and turn either one on to check flasher unit capability...hth.

There's an alternative handlebar mounted 3 wire switch on ebay....183504126666

Isn't this a bit too simple ? You would want to make the Hazard lights work only when in "park" mode, wouldn't you ? And then, not switchable without having the key ?

In the video, it would only work with ignition 'on' ?

No you'd want them to work when the bike is moving too, so if you had a problem you can alert drivers behind you to show you may be in trouble and will be slow etc.

To make it work all the time (when ignition is in park) you simply just need to tap the positive from a live such as the side light, best to have the wiring diagram from the manual to find the best place to link.

Ignition only Bjorge, but handy for slowing traffic and filtering. I know it's illegal to use them while moving but plenty of cars do it too.
Park light circuit couldn't cope with the 7A required for hazards. And it would need an additional flasher unit too....

You can legally sue them to warn drivers behind of a hazard ahead on motorways/dual carriageways, but yeah otherwise it's illegal, but as you say it doesn't stop most people.
