Exactly the reason I have a 660 tenere and not a 1200 tenere


XT1200Z - Big and bouncy

GTR1400 - Chaufer the wife.
XT660Z - Fun and commute.
TDM900 - Yellow.

Exactly the reason I have a 660 tenere and not a 1200 tenere

 

Hi Mark, been spending a lot of time planning a route to Oz and the xt 660 and formerly the 600 were a popular choice for such a trip... the Tenere looks a crackin choice though, do ya reckon it's got the legs !!!

 

Not told SWMBO yet...well i did but she thinks i'm joking at the mo..


Bigred mk1 R1 Calipers- Braided lines- Givi wing rack-Crash bungs- Hi vis bullets-PR2's- and a hoot to ride.

People do big trips two up on them.

Cheers Mark, already been looking at a few interesting stories but not looked at that site... quite sure the TDM is up to it really, but thats all dependent on route choice...

 

Not much to tell Chris at the mo,, wanted to do this for awhile now as not seen big sis for 32 years, she's in Adelaide.. not sure it will be possible even, well not for a while yet anyway !!!

 

Love thumpers though, had an XT 500 for ever.. reckon the TDM would do the trip easy....ish.

One that REALLY bugs me is the annoying little yellow 'shift' light when you're apparently driving at too high rpm to road speed!

I'll decide when I want to change gear Mr Vauxhall!!!!
