Those lights are just 'ring' spotlight,
the others he has are ring fog lights, I know as I have a pair myself, unfortunately I don't have to nice ally housing that shop sell.
The ally housing they come with on ebay is the special bit, these are made by a company - http://www.magazi-moto.com/initial.php - I've thought about contacting them directly to see how much they are direct.
maybe ill do it now seems its quiet at work

Let there be light
That's just one of a pair of these little beauties that arrived this morning. Look to be very well made with an aluminium body, and only 11 days from order to delivery.
Only place I can really think to fit them on the 900 is bolted to the plastic bit under the headlights, unless anyones got any better ideas, I've not got engine bars to mount them on, and the crash bungs will prevent me fitting them to the engine mounts.

I've used 2.5mm thick one- I don't think it will weaken crash pad mount (although I use engine cage instead)

Thinking of fettling some sort of strap/bracket to go around the frame section just below the faring/tank (at cyl level) to then attach the lights to. Need to check I won't be adjusting them on the road with my knee's, but it seems like a sensible place for them.
Otherwise it's under the main light as per others, but not really the place I want to put them.
I haven't got engine bars / shroom's on my 9er, so reducing the mounting options a little.

Chill, I love the look of those Solstace, especially the idea that you can get different lenses for them, so could have one spot and one wide angle. Silly money over here though, over £200 for a pair compared to £60 for a pair of the ones I've fitted

Have just got a Stainless Steal bracket made for them so hope to have them mounted in the next wek or so. When fitted will up load pixs.
I tryed to mount them under Headlight but not enough room so they will be coming off the engine frame bolt.
As you said about angle, will have to see.
I would have loved to have them higher but with out drilling holes in Fairing there was no were else to fit them.

Unbelievable how fast the shipping was for the cost and cant believe how good the quality is! there all metal bodied, very sturdy and strong.
I got chrome ones as they were cheaper but have already painted one satin black, looks allreet.
Here's some pics of my practise mount
Mounting bracket made from a thin sheet of stainless we had lying around
Light mounted on the engine bar
Im gonna get some Pclips and use them as with the rubber mount they should be better than home made ones,
I'm thinking I'll just wire them to sidelights, its a shame he does do ones with orange LED's, they would look good as indicators or running lights

Though this does mean one sits closer in to the bike than the other, I might be better off getting some sheet metal and making my own brackets rather than just painting these.
I've put a couple of switches on the dash under the warning lights, one's an on-off switch for the heated jacket, the other is an on-off-on and connects the signal wire on a relay to the dipped or full beam headlight, so I can have the LED's off, on when the dipped beam is on, or on with the full beam.
They're chuffing bright
I've been commuting all week with only the right one fitted and it's a big improvement over just the dipped headlight. Not had anyone flash at me yet so I hope it's not dazzling anyone. No night time pics of them yet though as I need a new rear tyre before I can use them
