Now I'm great believer in being-seen. I happen to know it helps your odds as I have been in a car with my mother-in-law. Not only did I live through the experience relativly unscathed except for a few intense councelling sessions but I actually came to appreciate being alive - even on a rainy day like today. So last week I was on my way home when I seen a lady out walking her two jack russel dogs. That was curious enough as i can't imagine why anyone would want one jack russell never mind two. It was broad daylight and the two dogs were wearing cute little coats - yep, you guessed it hiviz coats. So i did a search on the web as i thought I was suffering hallucinogenic flash-backs after the weekends antics and look here.. This evening i was driving home and to be fair it was raining. There I am in the same village (newcastle co dublin as a matter of local interest) when I see someone with a hi-viz umbrella! Is there somthing going on in newcastle that I should know about??? I think I'll take the long way home in future. I still have not managed to find a link to a hiviz umbrella which is somewhat consoling...strange....

Have you ever lent someone 20 quid and never seen it again? It was probably worth it.

Looks to me like he was interrupted in the middle of milling something important, lifted up his goggles, and wants to get back on with the serious stuff. laugh.gif

No high viz vests. The rabbits could spot them a mile away.
