I am, as soon as I've finished writing this, off to the local car dump with givi key in one hand and syphon in the other... all that lovely free juice....
One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humilty, kindness, empathy and truth.
The boy thought a while then asked "Which Wolf wins?"
"The one you feed" replied the old man...

Luckily Tishabelle remembered that she had seen one of the pants plastic originals, so I now at least have one to copy. Just gotta hope the key dude remembers which british Leyland key blank it was. Grrr
Knew eventually this thread would come in handy.

So I took the barrel apart of unlocked case. Went to same locky ... Yer lucky says he... Last blank so oil be extra careful cutting it... Which he then foobard. Haaa. On to next locky .. Has the blanks but says not possible to clamp remains of old key to copy. . So Tishabelle came up with the plan of taking blanks back to first locky but finally locky 2 came good and have 2 new keys.
Don't worry oil be back in a few months when it happens again. . The key has a ridiculously thin section where it always fails.

Nah it's the kappa/givi Juan.
interhesting indeed. Mole's Kwacker has panniers (which i tink are Givi's with Kwacker badges) and the metal part of the key remained intact but the hollow plastic bit ya hold with yer fingers snapped in half recently leaving only the metal piece, i stihl managed to lock/unlock the panniers with the remains though. Don't make um loike they used to!

The key has a particularly thin section and this is where it breaks every time. Think I have found replacement locks with 4 new keys on the bay for about the same price as having a couple of keys cut.... So oil just replace the locks.
I do have a spare set of pan ears but not giving up on me old UNs yet.
i wonder if it is possible to have replacement keys cut from a higher grade of steel?
