Some suggested rides out for the RTT. If the Mods think this should be a new topic then please make it so.

These are some ideas for rides out during the RTT. These are, for the most part, based on runs that Mrs TeDeum and I enjoy of a Sunday. The N71 turns up more than once as it is my favourite road with lots of beautiful bendy bits as well as stunning scenary and is mostly very well surfaced. The idea is to give you a chance to see what this part of Ireland has to offer as well as enjoying the riding - you can take them at your own speed. These are just suggestions so anybody who has any knowledge of the area may have better ideas than mine. I also have lots of quirky, unhurried routes which I have not mapped. Obviously all the routes start and end in Castlegregory but I was too lazy to link them like that. Excuse my sloppy use of Google Maps - sometimes the pointer missed the road!

I guess these can be printed out if anybody wants them and superglued to your satnavs (or whatever you do to program satnavs)

So, in no particular order:

The Dingle Peninsula
The Ring of Kerry
N71 to Bantry
The Father Ted Run
Blarney Castle/Gougan Barra and back up the N71
Interesting alternative route to Killarney or Killorglin

2001 TDM. 1990 Serow. 2004 DRZ400.  3 bikes, four cylinders. Who needs more?

Be nice to include the run up the estuary to Foynes and the Flying Boat museum on that - cracking bit of road.
