New venue to try this weekend  - quite close to me if anyone fancies it 

 

I can't hang about too long though - have to get over to Hinckley for 1.00pm ....... Having my S1000 remapped   :badgerrock:

 

 

March Breakfast. Syston Park Farm Shop & Cafe ! 18th March
A new venue, good cafe plenty of parking.

Saturday 18th March 9.15 for 9.30.

They're going to open 30 minutes early for us, good breakfast, (black pudding available upon request), good coffee.

Syston Park used to be a race circuit/ hill climb in days gone by.

Syston Park,
Grantham,
Lincs.
NG32 2BZ.

Parking available for us on level gravel to the right of the cafe.

Another 96 Mk2 in yellow & silver - absolutely standard & pristine ( apart from a butchered rear mudguard - but I'm looking for a new one
'76 Suzuki GT500 Stroker in need of a rebuild
'80 Yamaha XT250 mudplugger
another '81 XT250
'91 BMW R80GS - this one really will do a RTW trip
'05 BMW K1200S - inline four with a shaft
'10 BMW R1200GSA Anniversary Edition
'02 Fazer 1000 - 4 carbs are better than 2 ! - water pump rebuilt by Mr Ramrod Engineering

And the Latest Addition - a nice BMW G650 XCountry greenlaner - on long term loan to Boy Wonder

Lovely brekky with local produce inc. lincs sossiges and proper filter coffee. :)  Cheers Mick, my round next time.  I want an S1000XR, proper rocketship, kept all but disappearing in the distance. :cool: Got chatting to a nice guy with the dirtiest XTZ750 I've ever seen. :lol:   He's looking for an 8fiddly head so might be joining us shortly. :good:

Weather was mostly fine until I got 4 miles from home. :rolleyes:

 

110 miles covered and nice to be out for a bimble.

That ex - zorst system looking good Ian :good:  - plenty of elbow grease gone into that

 

Had a good afternoon at Hilltop - after helping them get a  Triumph Rocket 3 into the dyno chamber - feck they are heavy !!

 

S1000XR went up from 140 to a tad over 160bhp at the back wheel .........BumW only quote 160 at the crank !  :badgerrock:

Should have elaborated SR. I will be in the car withSWMBO. Setting off sat lunchtime (I'm coming off nights) and coming home Sunday. It's the Mother's Day run.
