Dvla Registration Question

Hi All,
Was lookin at zippychips 4tx project, and a thought came to me.
If you changed the frame & engine over from one bike to another, would you be able to amend the relevant details on your V5 and jobs a good un. Or, would you have to use the donor bikes registration.

Now I just fly everywhere.

Be yourself, because everybody else is taken.

You would need to use the donor bike reg. otherwise you are making a clone

The frame will always be the registered part and give the reg number, engines can be swapped and changed on the v5. I have had a R1 with 3 different engines now and a colour change to boot.
R1 race/track bike and TDM 900. Previously more bikes than you can shake a stick at 😊
