Fir some reason my speedometer has stopped working. I have recently changed the Fork oil since last used so not sure. The Speedo take of unit went back in okay ? Are there any fuses linked to this ?

You likely broke a tang.
"Whats up", "Piston Broke", "Yeah me too...hic"

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Active member of TPLQHCSRSFC and TSRMCMAS (even though a year off) and avid fan of PM not sent.

2000 4TX. Broken tang oh dear is that fixable if the case

It seems that the tang part is commonly available so front wheel off job again. It seems that the Speedo unit produces its own voltage

I think the fuse attached to the the tang might have bunt wires which is an issue

Yes i had broken off the plastic Tangs. Strange as i have had the front wheel out many times over the years. Still the part is readily available and ill take my time in future
