There's a complete snobbery/perceived heirarchy with this wave/nod thing so I don't bother my arse. It's a similar wanky scene in motorhome/campervan circles - some only wave to others of a similar brand/shape/model/class. I don't wave to any of these wankers either - and nobody waves to "tuggers", those pulling their homes behind them. It's all elitist pish and I'm becoming a carmudgeon.....................

MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

Some traditions have perhaps reached the end of their life, but when the Ducati broke down a couple of weeks ago, I had two offers of help from motorcyclists who stopped when they saw me at the side of the road.
