My Google photos app came up with an 'On This Day' thingy and showed me this from one of my early Carpe East Anglian GTGs in 2009.

Remembering Stormy and Moose who are no longer with us.  Enjoy yourself 'cos life is fleeting and all that...

Excellent. I seem to remember the cake being rather good on that day, with a decent spread layer out on a pasting table in Landy's workshop. R.I.P Moose and Stormy.

Indeed the cake was good - Landy's spread and Moose's homemade rock cakes crammed into his topbox.

And there's a vid.  It might just be the dullest on-road footage ever, but the cake makes a starring appearance at the end.

Ahhh, Moose's rock cakes, I remember the box coming out when we'd stopped at a lay by for a re-group at a later rideout. :)  Thanks for sharing Daniel. :good:
