With 50bhp and a claim of 78mpg, it might make a good comuter but I can't see that it'll be much fun to ride.

I'm with Rob, fecking ugly

And they forgot to finish the front mudguard. I can see the engine being clogged up with shite in no time

Can't deny it's ugly, but then I think, with a few exceptions bikes in general have got progressively uglier since the 70's. The only thing it's got going for it is the claimed 78mpg, but the BMW 800 twin returns 70 mpg and pushes out 71BHP.

i was talking to my son in law the other day he has a transalp and is thinking about a new bike he likes the TDM but his main use is commuting and hes going to test ride the NC700,

I switched from a Transalp to a 900 for commuting. The Honda sounds gutless - the 900 is lighter with more torque and will return mpg in the 70's, so....

I did too. For a shortish commute the TA is a great bike, very comfortable, handles great, fuelling spot on, but it IS gutless and juicy when ridden hard. It was the 45mpg at 85mph I couldn't cope with. That why the NC700 is worthy of a good look.

51BHP out of 700cc ? it'll be slower than a dullville
