ffs do you actually use these bikes ?? or are you in competition with yer handbag buying missus ????!!!
ya i tink thas one of the ltd. edition jobbies...........keep an eye on the oil level as they were intentionally built up minus an oil scraping ring or some such and do burn off a wee bit.

spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

Oh aye, I use em.

Did 3500 miles on the TDM in approx 2 months, did over 3k on the gs1200, only did approx 1000 on the Benelli but there was a healthy profit in it.

The Blackbird is one of 25 made (should have been 50), but at 16k each they were a bit steep.
Its a 50th Anniversary cbr1200xx
Honda sent them off to V&M who tuned them. They also had a few bits such as Akra full system, Oenske shock, rearsets etc etc
Motor is quoted at 200bhp at crank / 179 rwhp
Wanted one for years

Had a dyno run yesterday to see how the engine is.
Old fuel, old filter and prob needs valve clearences doing however happy with power output
173.17 at rear wheel
92 lb of torque

should be 179 and 96

Bottom end is very rich so bike going in for setup soon

Awesome bike Paul - there was an article on these a while back in one of the mags, impressive specs. I wish I was your younger brother, then I'd get your cast-ofs when you'd grown out of them. laugh.gif

One of the Rags tested one when they came out, wit stripped off mirrors etc.
They got it a smidge over 200. Think it was 200.8 or something.
Rumour has it they tweaked the test bike though.
It hits 160 very easily but Im not going to opush it yet until it's ben set up properly
