Hi All

Hoped someone could save me a bit of time please.

If your 900 has ABS this uses a normal size 30amp fuse in addition to those mentioned in previous mail.

Thanks Guys

Cats, will any H7 bulb fit, or does it need to be a specific type please?

Many thanks

You may want to check under your seat for spare fuses, I'm sure my bike already has some there in a little holder.

I'm pretty sure any H7 bulb will do, it's just the brightness and colour which varies. Lot of people on here recommend Osram Nightbreakers. I'm planning to try some when it starts getting darker again.

Dave. The H7 IS the type. I know for a fact you're not blonde, unless you've been at the peroxide bottle.

There are already spare fuses unside the fuse box.

Bulbs may also be found in shops.

The TDM900 is not known for burning fuses & bulbs.
It never happened with mine, even when riding rough tracks in Morocco.

You worry too much ! unsure.gif

I always take some long cable ties with me, very useful for securing bits that come loose or break, don't take any space under the seat.

Famous for it !!Isn't it a legal requirment though to carry spare bulbs on the continent ?

Cheers Dave

Hi Andy

I was thinking H7 was the size (fitting) rather than the type, for instance you could probably get size 12 stilettos, but they wouldn't be much good for playing football ?

Blonder than I was Mate, or is it grey !!

I think the last time I used a spare bulb was in your indicator in a pub car park in Avebury rolleyes.gif

No legal requirement to carry spare bulbs in France (although this is a common belief here), but it's illegal to drive with non-working bulbs...

JBX - What about removing them completely when they fail? That way the police can't prove they're non-working or not.

Fiasco - Yes Dave, the TDM still bears the scratches from that little incident - and I don't think I've taken the luggage pillion since!

Agreed so I went for an LED unit.

I certainly recommend Osram Night Breakers, they're a great improvement over standard bulbs. I paid £15.00 for a pair on fleabay.

Am I missing something, I just checked on their site and they show them at £19.19 delivered (pair of H7)?

UPDATE: Just realised this is the Powerbulbs EBay shop price, not their website where I looked, now ordered at £13.75 too. laugh.gif
