Anyone got an effective H7 LED hi beam in their 900?

If so, which & where from?

TIA

Tried a few and they've been crap next to the hid dip.
Side Stand has just put one in his BMW and said its brilliant but at seventy squid each I'm not sure I want to go that far.

There are two different types of LED H7 :

- fog lamps - the cheaper, they come without any heat dissipation device. As it says, "fog" means not much light output.

- true H7 lamps : much expensive, all have some kind of heat dissipation stuff like a fan, etc. They also come with a driver (separate or not).

Myself and Ramo have these LED's fitted in the high beam with HID in the low..

They work perfect, easy fit and are on a par with the HID' for brightness.

Instant on so no problem with delay or flashing.  Cooling fan unscrews which makes fitting even easier ..  :good:

Just bought a pair to try.
The problem I've always had is focus rather than brightness

Knowing your previous posts related to beam pattern/focus be interested to hear your thoughts.

Just put HIDs on both lo/hi, and happy with amount of light/pattern, but the delay on Hi is annoying.

I have an HID on main beam and got a fast start up one - after the initial start up it seems instant.

More expensive of course than a normal one - http://www.hid50.com/FastBright.html

Anyone tried the high speed HID packs? I have the same slow start problem on mine. I've seen the led units on fleabay but not yet take the plunge given the investment in what I have. Use nightbreaker bulb for low beam and HID high beam.

I've fitted it but to be honest I've not had chance to try it yet as its light at both ends of my commute now.
Got to say, it is as bright as fook though.
Fitting was a little awkward and had to make a foam spacer to hold it in (temporary) but other than that it seems fine.
Also had to use the adapter from the original h7 bulbs to connect the ballast as the pins are too close together.
