I have atatched above the bill I got from Raceways, it shows all the parts ordered by them and used to fit the guards. Piccy to follow when I can be bothered :P

I didi 198 miles from home, round the lake district and back yeaterday and the Tenere guards work really well and suit the bike

They look very nice indeed mowgli,, i prefer the look as opposed to my bmw guards,, but having dropped my bike on occasion :sorry: i like how robust the beemer ones are,,saved me no end of expense i reckon..

Long time lurker and now need some help!
Does anyone know if the BMW R1200GS 2006 handguards will adapt easily to fit my TDM900 2005 please?

Hi Jerry,

apparently, they only take 10 mins to fit to an 8fiddly, so I would imagine they'd fit a 9'er. http://www.carpe-tdm...4543&hl=r1200gs

found these hand guards for tigers, might fit a TDM but unknown http://triumph-onlin...lack-4548-p.asp

as you can see they fit into the bar end plus they have brackets to the bars.

just an idea

I know this has been covered for the900but can't find anything for the 850. Does anyone have any sturdy guards they use or know of that will fit easily that will ajpm fit protect your hands from the worst of the cold and wet? Found some on ebay universal ones for 35quid delivered but not sure of thee quality. Any suggestions please?!

I fitted poli-sport plus also DL650 handguards to my old TDM850

KTM guards fit easily and are reasonably effective.

I heard that v strom guards fit a treat although not tried any myself yet.

its a 2 minute job if you leave the bar ends off as i did, i cant feel any difference in vibration or the stearing weight. if you but used ones just make sure the fixings that expand inside the bars are there, but there are full sets for sale on flea bay regular for about £25 a bargain if you ask me.  :)

I,ve got dr bike hand guards,got them from j&s new Malden .universal fit with sturdy alloy fender bar .
Very similar to bark busters but £100 cheaper.paid £29.00'
Dropped bike twice on drive (nob).saved levers and no damage other than scratch on plastic guards.
Can lean bike in garage wall on then to save space as don't have centre stand.

Kedo do a set that come with stainless bar ends pre drilled.

 

A doddle to fit and work well - but blooming expensive £100 plus for the set.

 

Have a look in my gallery of my bike with them fitted.

Yeah pictures would be great if you can get them to work! I have a j and s near me too but do like the look of them ktm ones. I looked at them kedo ones but could only find some for 170ish from them on ebay. Can't warrant paying that!

Just looked on j&s web page and there not shown.
