I heard the Spanish roads are lined with virgins who throw rose petals at passing bikers. (could have been another one of my daydreams though) We have a similar thing in stoke but no virgins and they throw oatcakes.

I've just secured the ferry crossing (Seacat fast jobbie as I'm not a great fan of the Sea), so only thing left to do is arrange work leave.

I'd like to share a cabin for the week with a suitable non-smoking/farting person who is guarenteed not to sleepwalk - any takers?

Probably going to book Sea France Portsmouth - St Malo over night ferry on the Thursday and ride down through France on the Friday, see how far I can get and camp arriving some Saturday. Not sure about the return leg but it'll be from St Malo - Portsmouth day crossing.

That's what I paid yesterday. Ferry companies do have a habit of increasing their prices as time moves along but I can't see them upping them that much, that quickley.

Out of interest, I've just been on the website again and it's still coming out at a total of 120 squids for both journeys. Don't know what you're doing wrong Alan.

When the Lovely Mrs TeDeum was booking our ferries online she saw an offer disappear before her eyes while she was looking for a quote from another operator in a new window. So it does happen.
