I've got a mate did that on his XJ600S Diversion. He lost the top knuckle completely.

Now his main bike's a shaft drive 900 Diversion although his play bike is a Speed Four.
Another boring night & I'm feeling pissed....

i managed to chop the top off my index finger on my right hand whilst tryign to unscrew the back of a mobile phone with a pen knife.
blood everywhere, was quite impressive.

i'm now left with scar tissue at the end of my finger and its a pain when using a laptop as that finger doesnt work on the touch pad. also no nerves in that bit of skin.

i've also got a nike swosh sign scar on me thumb after a mate of mine tried to chop my thumb off with a felling axe, but thats a totally different story.....

That's an owwwie! sad.gif

I marshalled at classic races for a while, and I remember a conversation about iirc Goldstars with total loss primary drive lubrication, and if the rider had forgotten to open the tap before starting, they would often do it while rolling, with similar consequences in a number of cases...

Me - touch wood!

Noting like touching wood with all your fingers, but that's yet another story!

Ahem, back to the first post - I'm guilty of sticking the bike on a paddock stand to lube the chain whilst it's running! ohmy.gif

Similar prob. with my right ankle where I dropped a Kawa 500 on it last year in Greece (The spectacular bruising up to the knee was quite entertaining, though - must post the picture sometime). smile.gif

My brother did something interesting to his right knee on a broken bottle while goalkeeping a few years ago, and after the rebuild a touch on his kneecap is now felt round the back of his leg.. blink.gif
