Two times a year (since 1965), there is a big rally in Copenhagen, when the worlds oldest amusement park opens and closes (www.bakken.dk). This year, it opened on April 12th.

6000 motorcycles gathered in the center of Copenhagen and rode together to the amusement park just north of Copenhagen. There is police escort and all traffic lights on the route are kept green.

It is the worlds biggest motorcycle rally that isn't planned or arranged by anyone, people just show up and have a good time  :badgerrock:

The weather is not always the best (today it was 2 degrees celcius..), but it is great fun and the sound when thousands of bikes fire up at the same time, is just amazing.

When the weather is good, it is not unusual that 10000+ motorcycles show up.

I was of course there with my 9'er :)

It is a MRA screen.

Up to 110 km/h it is very good. After that, I start to get buffeting around the helmet. I am 184 cm and strugling to find a good screen. So far I have tried 4-5 without finding the right one...

I am considering going back to the original screen, since that gives buffeting on my chest, which is less annoying.

Thanks for the info - you saved me £40 :)

I have a yamaha touring screen which sounds the same as yours - I'm shorter at 180cm.

Thanks for letting me hijack your Danish.

My thoughts exacary, it's great wandering around such an eclectic group.

Down here we tend to be over represented by the cruiser fraternity, particularly M'erkcan Iron, no tassles, no admittance. Which is fine, but it makes for a slow ride home.

Lovely bike OP.
