Just one more day to go yeahbaby.gif

Most Mrs Ninja's actually loved the LWR, even when they didn't like biking.
Glad it's on BBC2 now, which most Dutchies can receive as well.

I will be glued to the TV for this. Is it over six episodes like long way round was? I have also heard they are now planning "the long way up" which will be the trans america highway from bottom cape of south america upto alaska.

according to the BBC long way down website this will be over 6 episodes.
Long Way Round was in fact 7 episodes or 10 episodes on the extended 3 disk special edition.

Cant wait for this one but will have to as i'm going to record the first couple of episodes to give me time to finish the book.
This was only released on the 11th Oct and i'm only 2/3 of the way through it at the moment (Northern Ethiopia)

I wish you hadn't said that sad.gif . I was just about to go to bed (working tomorrow). Now I've convinced myself that it's OK to stay up for another hour and another beer which will take me to the point of no return and I'll have to have yet another beer and another beer and another drinks.gif drinks.gif ....... and I'll end up sleeping stupidly late....and be knackered in the morning and have a headache rolleyes.gif

ARSE

Never mind, it' going to rain tomorrow. That'll clear the cobwebs away on the way to work!

C'est la vie. rolleyes.gif smile.gif wink.gif

Just watched it. Brilliant. They threw a bit of acting in there, but the bikes were great. Like Scotland too.

Yeah twas ok (lucky bassads). I guess they have to dramatize everything to make it worth a t.v. program. Hopefully they will not be hamming it up too much along the way.

no were talking the bbc (for that read the government) take 136 quid off everybody just for the priviledge of having a tv in the living room. then you pay extra for the cable on top of that. mad.gif
