swmbo found this gently cooking in the  our her oven. The insulating varnish had air dried, so I was just hardening it off sort of thing.

I'd used my own roasting tin that usually has my brass cases in it, in a bid to mitigate any wrath.

Doghouse is my new residence currently.  :sorry:

Granted, it made a slight smell..... but that's what extractor fans are for ain't they ?

Ha - amateurs, how about washing bits in the dishwasher or spraying paint in a (failed to notice it was newly decorated, although it was not long until it was pointed out), kitchen - I still wonder why that relationship didn't pan out...........

Ha, I once rode a CB900 into the living room, took a fortnight to strip and rebuild the engine and weld braces on the frame.

I thought I had got away with it but we're still married.

That'll teach me, talk about holding a grudge.

I don't know where to begin Lee.  How could you be so inconsiderate and thoughtless.  What you've done is beyond belief. Never in my life have I ever come across any member of Carpe who's switched on an oven and then posted pictures of it's contents AND NOT MADE A CAKE!.  There was plenty of room in that tray for a cupcake or two, so come on, get your act together and don't do it again.

Good luck, hope the doghouse only needs to be comfortable for a short duration.  :)

I was trying to spray the front mudguard Black on Sunday and it was just to cold in the garage and was blooming when I was lacquering.

I had to sneak up stairs in the bathroom put newspaper on the ironing board and sprayed away.

Stayed glossy and applied two coats, while they were downstairs watching  " I'm a tw@t get me out of here!"

It had dried enough to move it and clear up before she noticed.

Thought I had got away with it until she went to the Loo........ !

I once cooked a landrover overdrive shaft in the oven ready to install the inner bush from the freezer.

Took the chicken out that was in the way, did the shaft, popped the chicken back.

At dinner time, the chicken tasted very odd, it had absorbed the gear oil fumes left over from the shaft.  :unsure2:

I was getting away with saying the chicken must be off, until the wee lad piped up " do you think us cooking the landover gear in there with the chicken might be causing it mum ?   Never trust kids, they always spill the beans.

Had to take the whole family out for sunday dinner at some posh place of swmbo's choosing, so the job cost me a fortune.  :sorry:
