The tyre is about a year old. I've lost confidence in the rear and bought a new PR3. Wear on the right hand side is greater than the left which may have contributed.

Uneven wear is pretty common, primarily due to road camber apparently.

Fair call on the replacement. Nothing worse than a lack of faith in yer rubber.

I will see if I can get a pic of the mighty GG hurling me off Jono49. LOL.

Let's start a tyre swap organization: Estimated halfway through the lifecycle we pass the tyre on to a member in a country wit the opposite-hand traffic - we'll all end up with perfectly symmetrically worn tires  :P

I think you have roads like us. Twisty. The trick is to scrape your boots equally on left & rights. That gives even tire wear.

My problem is that a large portion of season is commuting. To scrape the boots, I'd have to drop my feet off the footpegs.

Can't see how that will improve symmetrical tyre wear ?

Yes thanks. I'm getting the fairy liquid and warm water out tomorrow.

T&G - normally I'd blame myself for an accident/mishap but it was a bit of road I travel every day. Did the same as I always do and wham! I'm sliding along the ground.

I really think you should bite the bullet and purchase a new tyre, 1500 mile left to you could be worn out to me, I dont know you but please buy another before you hurt yourself. Edit   well done, you got another.
