I am coasting along, changing nothing and getting some satisfaction from admiring QM's efforts and those chasing him.

Have I said this before? The icon on my home screen is a football! The rehash failed.

Well I wasn't expecting Lorenzo to get punted off, it cost me dearly. I dropped 200 places overall and am now only 4th in our Bromsgrove MCC tournament.

Something has gone very wrong. I was 1396th in the overall league last week. I score maximum points over the weekend with Rea captain and Sykes and I've slipped to 1863rd. It's getting to be a bit of a joke.

I was awarded points on a weekend when there was no race!
I am v.proud to be on record, to have stuck my neck out and whined about the veracity of the points awarding process at week one.
The only possible explanation for your discrepancy and my gain, is that there was a revision in the points awarded in the competition (that you missed, I saw) and that margin, applied across all competitors is what's showing up.
I gained 56 phantom pts BTW.

I emailed them and they said I'd made the changes after the transfer deadline of the 17th June. In fact I made the transfer on Thurs 16th.....NOT VERY HAPPY

I've given up there is so many bugs in the software running this I have been denied points on several occasions as deemed done changes to late, just leaving it as it is now lost interest.

Watching your last minute changes, I have.
Bite you in arsenal, it can.
Also might add, I have a figure for you based on that weekend.
Will check when I get back from Chatham.

So points standings (anticipated) based on the Rea/Sykes whitewash were
QM +154 = 1358
MM +124 = 1109
LS +144 = 1105
Actual standings
QM = 1258
MM = 1109
LS = 1105
100pts = Rea x2 missed.
So the explanation holds. Whether their timekeeping is the same as ours or not I dunno.
God knows it takes a day or two before the lockdown before the next transfers are permitted.
I always make sure I get that team and captainship locked up good and proper, regarding the process to be more of a lottery than anything else.

Thanks I always try and move my teams around on the Wednesday or Thursday so haven't a clue why they said I was late. Tricky one coming up with BSB and MGP over the same weekend.

I thought I had suddenly closed down the gap on QM for no apparent reason. The developers of this game really are a bunch of amateur cockwombles. The previous company was fine, presumably MCN thought they could save a few bob this year by employing this useless bunch. If it makes anyone feel better, then we are not alone. Take a look at MCN's pages here.

The management would like to remind players that this is a MotoGP weekend and that they should consider choosing their team captain accordingly.
Also, please note, the lockdown deadline for this weekend has passed and the current countdown reflects the deadline for the 22/23 Jul.

Hah, hah, hah,
Priceless.
I've been planning on putting emphasis on this weekends 23/24 Jul WSBK Championship.
Except..................................
Round 10 was cancelled and isn't happening.
Better let the MCN Fantasy League guys know.
About 1 hr left to transfer your Captain to the BSB Championship for this weekend.
Mental.
FYI Monza Round is not happening, despite being listed on MCN Fantasy League site.
Look to Thruxton for this weekend.
I'll send them a email, so they'll know to expect some complaints this weekend.

Disappointing here too, as I was just about to settle on a stable team (barring injuries and transfers).
I may have my wires crossed, but have heard that Eugene Laverty wasn't hard enough for MotoGP and could be on the move. (and so onto another Savadori anomaly ?)
The MCNFL won't be bothered.

So, along with many other participants, I scored over 100 points this past weekend with my BSB selections and a Shakey Byrne captaincy. (Q2 + P1 + P1)
Why then, have we all had points deducted from our totals without advances at all, especially since my score exceeded 100 pts?
I thought I had a near 1500 total. I was on target to be at 1600+ but am currently displaying 1453. It is like we've lost the previous weekends gains too.

So I'm not imagining it then.
Amazing how many different ways they seem to find in order to muck it up, given that it should be so straightforward / fire and forget.

Don't give up. The challenge is to beat you, against all the obstacles thrown up by the disaster that is the MCN Fantasy Obstacle Course
