getting exceedingly grumpy,  more so than usual. :sorry:
I find that hard to believe Graham

Hard to believe that level of grumpiness is even possible. Keep calm & keep drinking (decent)tea Graham. I'm sure it'll come good, you you can't keep a good man down for long.

As an owner of a right knee from a metal shop (Smith and Nephew) I know how rubbish it can be at this point so grin and push!

Grin through the pain and push on to keep the physio happy (My daughter is a physio...not ideal they really are masochists) with lots of exercising, ice, pills, ice, exercise....etc etc. 90 degrees was expected but so tough to achieve early on. Its key to keep pushing but the results can be late in the process. I have around 120 degrees now......a bit knumb on the outside ...but it does the brakes etc so all good.

Keep your chin up....you know it will be OK in 3 to 4 months time. This time is just an pain in the ARSE  Knee.

All the best and keep us up to date....I know it helps.

Another update please rally. You beed too quiet :-)

Not progressing to well Dappers getting reasonable movement but still suffering a lot of pain, not sleeping because of that seeing consultant next Friday for progress inspection, with the right knee I was a little more advanced but the left knee was more complex as a lot of reconstruction work was needed before fitting the knee due to previous damage in the 1960's, in theatre for 90 minutes longer than expected even the anaesthetist complained to me that he had missed his evening meal, managing to drive the 'Pig' so can get out a bit for shopping etc anyhows I am always the quiet one.

Update, saw my consultant last week and he gave me more information regarding my new knees, he has fitted Stryker Triathlon Total Knee Replacement System my reply to him was "there is no chance of me doing one of them triathlon things" anyway he has had to use two different types for each knee, piccys below.

All is going well at the moment but a little slower than I would like, did manage to go to see my cardiologist yesterday on my little bike. object to paying hospital parking charges, suffered a bit afterwards.

Progress report

Went to see my consultant yesterday he is very happy with the progress but admitted that he was somewhat worried about the outcome, he did not really want to do the op wanted to pass it to another consultant, however not withstanding that is somewhat impressed on what I have achieved and had me do a couple of squats to assess movement range, bloody masochist, then added you can ride your bike now if you wish, hadn't the heart to tell him I already had, told me to book an appointment for 6 months time.

All good going to Scotland in September to have a play. :good: :good: :)
