did you go for the manual or automatic?
Only downside for me with the nc750 is not being able to strap luggage on the seat because of the fuel filler under the back seat, it's definitely on my list of next bikes.
A friend of mine who's had loads of bikes recently aquired a cb500x through chance and absolutely loves it.
Enjoy.

I used a Lomo 40 litre roll bag at the weekend with 2 Rok straps to hold it on and it was easy to take off for fuel.

So after the disappointment of missing a trip to Scotland with some of my mates and also working my nads off at home my wife decided it was time for a treat. So after over 30 years of biking I finally own my 1st brand new bike........After a good long talk I decided to downsize. With the lad getting on 2 wheels now I don't need the giant FJR. So I now have a bike for a grown up biker! LOL
You better get over to my house Matt so I can test it ... only on the drive mind
For a challenging summer try the
Round Britain Rally.....
1993 TDM 850 Mk1 ..... 2008 TDM 900 .... 1975, 1979, 1982, 1992 Goldwings, Scott, AJS, Triumph 5TA

Congratulations Matt. I can see the appeal of having the tech stuff you mention, sounds like it could be really useful.

Went for the DCT version. Absolutely brilliant. Still running it in so keeping it steady. 100 miles on it yesterday and all smiles. Had a play in Sport 1 and you notice the difference in shift patterns. And there's 3 modes to play with. Apparently if you use manual shift while in sports mode the system learns how and when you shift and remembers. Next time you select that sports mode it'll change how and when you did so you just relax. Awesome tech really and the shifts are seamless. No Jerks or clunks. And engine braking can be as harsh as you want as you can override the system with the manual buttons regardless of mode selected. I'll report more when I get some more miles this weekend. I'll let you know when I can pop over Graham
I tested the X model with DCT coupla months ago, but noone told me there were more shift modes . It was obviously set to 'dull', and I was not impressed. I mean - a flat out and it shifts at 5,000 rpm or thereabouts !
