Hi to everyone. I know it's not TDM related but perhaps someone out there may have some knowledge, memories or experience of this bike. A friend of mine has come across an old Italjet (in the UK) and we are trying to identify the year and model. We think it’s early to mid ‘70’s but can’t seem to find much info on the Internet and the Italjet websites have nothing.

Any information (or where we could obtain information) would be gratefully appreciated.

Sorry, but don't have any space left for pictures.

Here’s what we know so far:

Engine: Franco Morini – New 100, Can’t find an engine number

Frame # 3 7-10054

Carburettor: Dellorto VHB 22BS

Stator: Dansi Varese ASL236NS

Wheels: Front = 19 inch, Rear = 17 inch

Marzocchi suspension

No V5 ?

Off road ?

Two or four stroke ?

Engine no should be on a plate near the kick start, unless it's been removed to mask a dodgy past !!

A picture paints a thousand words, so hopefully this link will take you to a couple of recent pics.

It's an off-roader, 2 stroke, schoolboy scrambler sort of thing, The only numbers stamped on the engine is '5-2'.

Doubt it being dodgy, last owner had it for over 30 years.

Looks a bit like this Italjet 50cc - https://goo.gl/images/2kDS6C- no details about it though, its from this site - http://my50.co.za/ot...-bikes/italjet/

Someone on that site might be able to help.
