PURPLE/BLACK 1993 TDM 850 7.1K MILES SWEET BIKE

this bike looks great, it is metallic dark purple and black. It has been light laid down on left side-muffler scratched. The bike looks showroom other than that. The fairing looks new but doesnt have the tdm850 and stripes on it-the tank does. THe tires look original and have about 1,000 miles left on them.

I think you should make it clear if you're a dealer or trader.

take it back ... there was one similar being sold out of a dealership in ALABAMA for parts only - a hurricane/flood bike not able to be titled in the US. Looking back, it appears that no one bought it on auction.

Still, you should post photos, otherwise ...

buyer beware.

Darcy, I'm pretty sure the guys a trader. Do a Google search for his phone number. It comes up 15 times against small adds for anything from bikes, 4x4s, trucks, and Boats.

Whats wrong with him being a trader?

If thats the case I'll just add in "TRADER" in the title?

Cheers

Its the way that the original add was worded that set the alarm bells ringing. If it was your own bike you wouldn't say "the fairing looks new", or "the tyres look original". And how many private sellers can accept payment by credit card?

It may be a good bike, but potential buyers need to be aware of who they are buying from. And bare in mind what Darcy said.

I think its a bit of a cheek to join up and post your first one for selling a bike..................happened last week too.

So add the word TRADER and charge him an advertising fee.......... smile.gif

Better yet... a 10% cut in the price if a Carpe member buys?

It may have been a 'social faux-pas', but it's more TDM's for us. good.gif 'That's a good thing!'

Why not give 'TRADER'S' a spot?

Any more 'TRADE' posts... move them in there. (TRADERS)

hmmm? wink.gif
