I have a spare front wheel for sale... a 17" one, from an R6 as I recall, in very good condition with good discs and a semi-used tyre (It's probably only done 2000-2500 miles, maybe less). It's a simple change to fit to the TDM, no mods required.

I had this fitted to my TDM and was delighted with the modification, but sadly it's had to come off in favour of the original 18" wheel as the bike's been exported to Italy, where they're less liberally minded about such modifications. Assolutamente vietato! :punishment:  :um:

The wheel is still in Italy, but I'll be retrieving it at some point... anyone interested in making me an offer? Bear in mind that it will take some months before I can get it back home.

Cheers,

guy

Was just talking to my son today about changing the front wheel size am due to replace the tire got an advisory on MOT very low.
How does it affect the handling baring in mind I have a Hagon shock on the back so is a little taller and will the discs fit an R6 wheel just fitted new ones.
Any advice welcome thanks Timbo

I have 17" and Hagon, handles great. then I also have a 16" wheel FZ600 now that's interesting handling. you have to tip it in at the last moment

As far as I know, it'll only fit a mk3 and you're on a 97 bike.. a mk2?
