mk2a are the later carbs. mk2 are the earlier wans, mk1 are the earliest.  All mk2's are 4TX. mk1 is 3VD.

Mk2a carbs have larger inlets and a metal ring around them and the pilot screws are cross headed.

EDIT.  Difficult to see clearly from the small photo but they look to be the mk2a carbs, going off the protruding pilot/mixture screw.

Thanks.

Is there enough detail in my pic to tell which ones they are?

I suppose its the other side that would give the game away then/

Ive never had these carbs on any of my bikes. They came as a spare set when I bought a 2001 tdm a couple of years ago. So an overhaul would be in order.

Im going to post them for sale in the for sale section.

Any money raised I want to go to the site towards the cost of running this forum. My current 3vd  would not be running without the help i've received on here which has kept me going during this lockdown.

Can an admin give me advice as to how this could be done,

itchy
