I foillowed the safety first route I bought a BMW,but I have 2 TDMs to fall back on if it breaks down.

2004 900 - Blue with lots of goodies

2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black but now white. I fancied a change but kept all the original panels, just in case I want to put it back to original. Tank cover saved the need to paint the tank.

You have my sympathy, I've had 2 Beemers.

1st one decided to self-destruct on the motorway. Clouds of smoke and oil dripping from the end of the exhaust.

Was stupid enough to replace it with another (dealer made an offer I couldn't refuse). Ditched it when it started dropping coolant everywhere.

Neither of them reached 15,000 miles.

Never had any issues with Jap bikes.

The best thing about being old is we did all our stupid stuff before the Internet was invented, so there’s no proof.
