You should have seen the confusion it cause when we pulled over in Germany and my satnave said turn right in 10 miles, Danny's said turn left in 5 miles, and Tony's said turn round and go the other way laugh.gif

What's the running light? It looks pretty good, I'm still on the lookout for a pair of compact LED lights.

Cats,

two questions for you ...

1 are the various brackets for your toys home made or off-the-shelf, and if so (shelf option), where can I get one for a Garmin Nuvi series? I know its not a bike specific sat nav, but it is so neat and tidy.

2 in the first picture, whats the big dial with the white needle on for? unsure.gif

neat Autocom location by the way, I'm into tidying-up-the-wires mode at the moment on all 4 of my bikes.
Trying to achieve a quick interchange facility, i.e. plug-n-play intercoms and sat navs dependant on which bike(s) that I(we) are riding at the time. Don't want to go the have everything fitted on every bike option, cos that is expensive.

So far have got as far as having plug-n-play power supplied sorted for the Autocoms on all bikes. Garage looked like an explosion in a wire factory for a few hours!

Mike
Thanks for that.
If you look close you will see that the Bracket the AutoCom is placed on is in fact, a RAM MOUNT IPAQ Car holder turned on its side. I bought the 4.3" Sony Sat Nav as it clicks into place perfectly. It unclips and fits in the car using the original Sony holder.

I made 2 'U'' brackets to mount it from the bars. Bit of foam to stop vibration. There is a lot of wiring and all the devices run from the sidelight power, a lot of time making it neat

The other bracket on the left hand side is for the iPhone but that broke in the cold yesterday. I put the other Ipaq on there for the pic.
You can get the handlebar holder for the attachments from Ebay but I cannot remember the linky.

The holder holding the iPhone in the pic is a Ram Mount neck with a phone holder. That will be used for 2 way radio in the summer. Not usually fitted.

Mart.

Vacuum-driven espresso machine? rolleyes.gif

Btw, instead of a sheepskin, US maxi-riders recommend a beaded seat cover as an antidote to numb bum. Dunno about a UK supplier. Guess a car one could be cut down or rebuilt?
