On one of the RoSPA courses we have done, one of the lads turned up on a new FJR 1300.
I must admit it looked stunning ....... very tempted
So much so I actual went to Wigan Yamaha and went through some figures on a new one.
With a massive discount, 0% finance and my 2008 TDM ABS in Part ex it was £231 x 36 months
Even more tempting
But .... chatting to the man about us waiting for news on the TDM 1200, he said
" You can guarantee they have one, they are not going to put it into production untill the exchange and the global economy picks up. Looking at least 3 years, 18mths of that to get it on to the shop floors."
Now I have had a chance to think about it,
I am keeping mine and waiting for the new one, just because I love you lot of Sh!t bags,
almost as much as the TDM.
But I have decided to save up for the Future TDM, so I am putting £231 into premium bonds each month ready for the big Day. (Premium bonds because they are a Tw@t to cash in and I might win some money in the wait.)
So, the waiting begins.
Cheers, Ivan

There's no Fookin chance I would waste my time visiting a BM Fookin W showroom to discuss them taking my Fookin money.
If you think the Aluminum Square elitist fookin riders are up there own Arse. !!! You want to talk to the fookin Tw@ts who sell them
If you haven't got the integrity and honesty to be a traffic warden,
they give you a job selling BMW fookin tractors ..
Whats Ironic is that I get invites to Southport Superbikes when they Launch a new bike, and my mate who has a GS, Doesn't.
You see once they have your money, your trapped and you have to go back to them for expensive parts for your fookin reliable piece of German Technology.
They're just greedy, plain and simple fookin Greedy.
Ever thought what GS stands for ...... Greedy Sh!te !
