Enjoyed watching that. Pity they decided to use a tricycle instead of a 'proper' tandem bike though.
Next weeks offering looks good, taking on pikes peak on a motorbike.

Methinks Mr Martin will be back next year with a bike that works properly. He was clearly extremely happy with his success on half throttle. Good programme, they should make more like that.

I think they tried to mould him into a Fred D replacement but he didn't like it.
Go on his web. Lots of stuff on there http://www.guymartinracing.co.uk/

Fred D was a steam and old Victorian stuff man who got into back street mechanikin' because he could not get old steam stuff done anywhere. One of my hero's.
Guy M is a proper mechanic who likes to go fast and is happy to get down and dirty to make things go.

Didn't get the world speed record in a hovercraft …….but he's now the fastest Brit !
He's ben a busy lad - no wonder he sometimes seems a bit distant when he's back racing bikes

I watched the Pike Peak challenge thing on TV yesterday - somehow managed to miss it first time round...feckin nuts!!
Awesome bit of engineering on that bike though....
My son races Guy Martin from time to time on mountain biking events. Apparently Guy was on a pink bike at one time...Chris passed some comment to Guy mid race, and his response was..."it was cheap" LOL. Very down to earth as you can imagine
