The next time somebody has a 9r rear mudguard off could you please measure the dimensions, i'm curious to know if it would fit the 850 with a little adaption, tyre sizes are marginally different but may fit.

Cwiff,  does ya mean the rear hugger or the mudguard thingy under the seat that the TCI (CDI) box is mounted to? 


spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

I loike tay and hang sangwiches !

I meant the hugger Ken but now you mention it i wonder if the undertray from a 9r would be far off a fit, with a cupla snips, that's summit else i want to address down the road, all that open space under the seat does'nt help the electrics any does it.

The 900 hugger looks neat compared to the 850 one but it's also less effective.  Someone used to do a better hugger for the 900.

Remember that matey, god but what a rip off, i remember trying to find something i could adapt to make one on the old 9r, then got forgotten, am curious to know about the undertray though, think it can wait till next year now, enough on me plate.

Cliff there was also a French company who used to do a replacement under tray for the TDM850,  saw pics of it but never actually saw one in the flesh. Doubt they are still available though and i can't remember where i stored that nugget of information as i used to have their details and pics of it.

LOL some of the prices are mind boggling eh, Steve not after one of them matey, already have one, was just pondering if a 9r undertray would fit with a little modification.. gonna leave it for now though got enough going on, thanks for looking :good:
