I live in Guisborough, right at the foot of the NYMNP, turn right out of my road, join Guis/Whitby road, climb Birk Brow, (on the Moors now,2-3 mins from leaving home), right at Lockwood Beck, fast sweeping road takes me to Comondale, right, n climb to Blakey Ridge. Left at top of Moor takes me fast/twisty/open road down to Rosedale. Back out same way, right immediate left (Ralph Cross) down to Westerdale (photos taken 1mile short of village), up-down-up-down 'propper' single track Moor road, X-roads turn left, fast hi vis road thru Kildale on to Easby, right to Gt Ayton, steady ride back to Guisborough (find yourself wanting to sit at 100+ back on 'wide' A road after 35+ miles of Moor roads......
