Thought I'd share this clip, that is the first use of this Under £30 video camera. Reasonably pleased with the result, If you pause at the right moments you can pick up registration plates ok, which might be useful. Most pleasing is the lack of wind noise,(this is probably because it's in a water proof case), and the fact you can make out the beat of the motor. I will have to play around with the settings to see if it improves the picture or makes it worse. It's mounted with a sticky pad thing onto the left shelf of the fairing, just to the side of the screen. The Camera base then clips straight into this base, so is easy to remove. Because of the wide angle lens it looks like you're travelling faster than you actually are. The quickest speed here is just after overtaking the bus (about 5mins 40) on the dual carriage way, where I hit around 6k in top. :)

 Hope this works! :unsure2:

Yeah, funny how that 70mph looks a lot faster through the camera lens eh. ;)

Smaller file size of clip also reduces time in uploading and processing it.

That is very good quality indeed.

I also bought a cheapo camera for the G2G and used it briefly when I was riding with Studley. It video is so jerky its un watchable.

Trying a much larger memory card next but not holding my breath.

Oh dear this camera went faulty on me. So I've had a word with the supplier, and he suggested I returned it. This I did, and he's refunded me. So I've ordered another from another supplier! Fingers Crossed.

When I turned the camera on I just had lines on the screen, and couldn't do anything with it. To unfreeze it, the only thing I could do was remove the battery and start again. This sometimes worked but not always. Anyhow I sent it back expecting a replacement, but I just got a refund. So I've ordered the same camera but from another supplier, as I've still got the base stuck onto my fairing as previously shown. So I'll  have a spare base incase it becomes loose in time. :)

To be honest I don't know, but he didn't seem to be in any trouble.

Microsoft Hyperlapse is finally here, available for windows and android, so making decent videos from cheap cameras is going to be a lot easier from now on
